We've been pretty dry here in the Tennessee Valley. This is nothing new of course; much of Alabama has been dry off and on for a couple of years now. But finally it's raining today, and it's the good kind of rain that falls steadily. The ground is soaking it up as fast as it comes down.
I'll be traveling to Lower Alabama today.
